Description
Tecsound® is a synthetic soundproofing sheet with a high-density polymer base, asphalt-free, viscoelastic, and highly adaptable, designed for use as an acoustic insulating element in various construction components.
It features a finish layer of non-woven polypropylene fabric that provides greater tensile and tear resistance.
APPLICATION
- Airborne noise insulation in vertical partitions with low surface mass (laminated gypsum boards, lightweight partitions, or panels made of various materials).
- Airborne noise insulation in lightweight roofs and coverings.
- Reduction of impact noise and vibrations in all types of slabs, used in the formation of floating floors.
- Reduction of impact noise and footstep noise in parquet, laminated, and decking floors.
- Insulation against noise produced by atmospheric agents (rain, hail, or wind) in lightweight roofs (metal and wooden roofs).
- When combined with sound-absorbing materials, it results in products with high acoustic performance.
- Its applications in the industrial sector range from soundproofing cabins to isolating machine rooms, downpipe conduits, damping metal sheets, etc.
