We are pleased to announce a major milestone in our continued global expansion: the establishment of our new greenfield manufacturing unit in Ahmedabad, India. Strategically located to serve both domestic and international markets, this facility is poised to become a central hub for the production and promotion of SOPREMA’s Geocomposite product range, including Geosynthetic Cementitious Composite Mats (GCCM) and Geosynthetic Clay Liners (GCL).

State-of-the-Art Facility and Manufacturing Capabilities
The new facility spans over 11,000 square meters of land, with a dedicated Phase-I plant area of 1,750 square meters designed for optimised workflow, safety, and process efficiency. Engineered to support large-scale and continuous production, the plant has a current capacity of up to 6 million square meters annually, ensuring dependable supply and scalability for major project requirements.
Our manufacturing line incorporates heavy duty and advanced material handling systems, as well as innovative needle punching technology. These capabilities enable us to produce highly consistent, project-ready products with minimal lead times.

Wider Roll Width for Cost and Installation Efficiency
One of the defining features of our new production capability is the ability to manufacture rolls up to 5.9 meters wide. This wider format delivers several key advantages:
